Me and Ask A Ninja – Best Panel At Ad-Tech SF

I was delighted to have been asked to join a panel of very intelligent people at  Ad-Tech in San Francisco this coming April and if you can make it then you are in for a great time where you’ll be able to learn an awful lot. The panel is going to be hosted by Rohit Bhargava who is the VP of Interactive Marketing at Ogilvy Public Relations, and the topic which we will be going into is Trench Warfare: Using Blogs, Vlogs and Podcasts to Have a Brand Personality”.

As any of you who follow the site here will know this is something which we have touched on already but this panel looks set to dig far deeper into the personality of brands and how blogs, vlogs and podcasts are able to fit into that.

The Panel

I am lucky enough to be headlining this panel and I must say what a humbling fact that is given some of the heavyweights who are going to be on the panel with me. Just look at this list of great minds;

  • Steve Hall, Publisher and Founder – www.adrants.com
  • Jeremiah Owyang, Director of Corporate Media Strategy at PodTech – www.web-strategist.com
  • Kent Nichols, co-creator askaninja.com
  • Rohit Bhargava, VP of Interactive Marketing at Ogilvy Public Relations

As you can see, some pretty exciting people to share a stage with!

What We’ll Be Discussing

Amongst other key topics what we will be going into during the panel is the importance ofbranding for business and how they can use online systems in order to do that. Following this we will be going into much more detail around what that branding looks like when it is completed using blogs, vlogs and podcasts. Following this we will get into the nitty gritty which is how businesses and individuals can use these tools to bring through their personality.

We have seen more and more in recent months that personality is key when trying to market online, this is what creates brand loyalty and what inspires customers to trust in a brand. Many businesses struggle with this aspect of marketing and how they are able to get their personality across, and the first step is to understand what exactly is the personality of the business and what they actually want to show to the customers.

Through the day we will go into all of these topics as well as branching out into sub-topics relating to the overall theme. I can’t wait to get together with these guys and helping to show many of you exactly what this angle of marketing should look like. Why not come along and see if we can show you a thing or two about branding your business with personality?
